The Air C2 SW product teams develop Command and Control (C2) mission critical applications and leverage DevSecOps processes along with best industry practices to meet the threats of today and tomorrow. C2 Product team is hiring Software Engineer I to work onsite in Fullerton, CA.
Requirements
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience in Object-Oriented Design and Development
- Experience in C# and/or Java application development
- Able to obtain program access after start
- Able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance as and when required.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Nice To Haves
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, ability to work effectively within large, cross-functional teams.
- Experience in JavaScript / TypeScript
- Knowledge of relational databases as part of the software solution
- Knowledge of modern web UI frameworks such as Angular, Vue.js, or React
- Experience with one or more scripting languages
Responsibilities
- Perform as a contributor working with a high performing Software Product Team.
- Participate in software C2 software development and testing.
- Collaborate in a cross-functional / Agile environment
- Travel OCONUS: Up to 25% per year
