About The Position

The Software Engineer I – Full Stack Product Development is responsible for design, development, and testing of select product area(s) of the Infinite Campus Software Products. Incumbent should have internship or entry level work experience/knowledge of Java, Angular and/or Javascript. SQL; relational database knowledge desired. Understanding of rest API. Able to demonstrate/write, test and debug code. Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team/collaborative environment. Understanding of SDLC and agile processes. All Software Engineer I’s at Infinite Campus will code software to adhere to designs supporting business requirements. Debug and test code. Create unit and other automated code validation tests. Estimate level of effort for individual work. Research, investigate, and fix a wide range of technical issues. Use agile planning, estimation, communication, and release processes. Write system documentation in support of the code being developed.

Requirements

  • internship or entry level work experience/knowledge of Java, Angular and/or Javascript

  • bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and internship or one year software development experience; OR three years software development work experience
  • knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures in technologies used at Infinite Campus (e.g., Java, Groovy, SQL, XSLT, Spock, Grails, JavaScript, and/or Angular)
