This position will focus on supporting developing the next generation of technologies in radar, surveillance, and communication systems. Additional information can be found at www.ttm.com Position Summary: Software Engineer I is responsible for the systematic approach to the development of requirements, design, implementation, test, and maintenance of software components.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering
  • C++ experience required
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Must have a background that would permit the U.S. Department of Defense to issue a Secret clearance when necessary for work on a project that requires such a clearance
  • Minimum 0-3 Years Relevant Experience

Responsibilities

  • Follow current SW development processes
  • Foster process improvement
  • Perform tasks according to budget and schedule
  • Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks
  • Prepares status reports, as required.
  • Develop unit-level code (in the target implementation language) based on design provided and under direction of Manager/Lead
  • Develop test procedures for such based on test cases provided
  • Develop test drivers and stubs (a.k.a. test harnesses) and perform unit testing
  • Perform modifications/debug code, test procedures, and/or test harnesses as directed by Manager/Lead.
  • Configure final tested unit and test harnesses
  • Participate in others’ design and code reviews of units
