About The Position

As a Software Engineer I you will analyze, design, develop, test, implement, maintain, and support applications based on customer requests to ensure successful operation and conformance to requirements.

Requirements

Undergraduate studies in computer science, A.S. preferred or equivalent experience.
Object Oriented Programming Knowledge (Java or C# Preferred)
Web Development Knowledge (Angular.js and React.js Preferred)
Relational Database Knowledge (SQL and Entity Framework Preferred)
Written and Oral Communication
Must be able to work on multiple open projects at one time and proactively seek assistance when needed.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced agile environment.

Responsibilities

Utilize industry best practices for the full software development lifecycle, including coding with coding standards, code reviews, source control management, spec’s refinement, and automated testing.
Ensure that stakeholders and managers are up to date on work progress through established written and verbal channels. This includes but is not limited to meetings, emails, customer support tickets, and project management software.
Ensure all assigned work is requested, tracked, and monitored in compliance with team policies.
Strive for continual improvement through feedback and ongoing professional development.
Create and maintain application and systems documentation.
Participate in the architecture, design, and project timeline estimates as needed.
