Our teams engage in meaningful and technically challenging work that contributes to creating a safer and more secure world The Test Solutions Engineering team within the Hardware Discipline Center focuses on creating advanced Windows-based application solutions for high-performance products. Our Test Solution tools and systems play a critical role in supporting the full lifecycle of complex systems, from engineering labs and field operations to production environments. As a member of the Test Solutions team, you will engage in cutting-edge designs using the latest technologies, developing software solutions to integrate state-of-the-art engineering systems. You will have opportunities to contribute across all stages of the engineering lifecycle, including demonstrations, tests, design verification, production, and sustainment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) obtained prior to start
• Experience with software development, testing, or integration using C, C++, Python, or Visual Basic
• Experience with Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Visual Studio
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
• Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date

Nice To Haves

• Basic understanding of software development principles and object-oriented design
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment
• Experience with Agile or Waterfall development lifecycles

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate object-oriented software applications using C# and C++ in Microsoft Visual Studio
• Troubleshoot and debug software to ensure functionality and reliability
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop and implement solutions
• Work within established software development lifecycles, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Develop and derive requirements for software applications and systems
