Software Engineer I - Implementations

NarmiNew York, NY
$94,000 - $113,000Hybrid

About The Position

Narmi is how community financial institutions unlock the very latest capabilities in digital banking, account opening, and lending so they can move faster, tap new growth opportunities, and be where banking is going. Since our founding, Narmi has enabled the movement of billions of dollars and the opening of hundreds of thousands of accounts for banks and credit unions across the U.S. The results speak for themselves: our customers have grown deposits, revenue, and customer satisfaction, with one of the first institutions powered by Narmi recognized by Bankrate and NerdWallet for delivering the #1 digital banking experience in the country. You’ll be part of Narmi’s Implementations Engineering team, a small-in-headcount, high-impact group of engineers operating at the intersection of product, engineering, and our customers. We work closely with Narmi’s Customer Success and Implementation teams to launch new financial institutions on the Narmi One platform, while continuously improving the systems and processes that power those launches. A big part of the role is building the internal tools, integrations, and automation that make implementations faster, more reliable, and increasingly scalable over time. You’ll develop deep product expertise quickly as you diagnose issues, ship targeted fixes, and improve how implementations are delivered in the real world. We actively use modern AI tooling in our own workflows and look for opportunities to build custom tools and automation that help teams across the company move faster and operate more effectively. We believe the best work happens when great people build together in the same room, so we’re an in-person–first team, typically working from Narmi’s Flatiron office about three days per week with flexibility to work remotely when needed.
