As a Software Engineer on the Developer Enablement Platform team, you will build and enhance tools that empower our engineering organization to ship high-quality code faster and more efficiently. You will focus on creating an elegant internal developer experience by integrating and extending open-source solutions like Backstage for developer portals and GitHub Copilot and other industry-leading AI tools for AI-assisted development.

  • Build and improve internal tools: Help design and develop tools that simplify the daily work of our engineers using technologies like JavaScript/TypeScript and Python.
  • Support our developer portal: Contribute to maintaining and enhancing our Backstage platform by adding new features and improving user experience.
  • Learn to automate workflows: Assist in streamlining software delivery by supporting CI/CD pipeline improvements and learning how automation drives speed and reliability.
  • Collaborate with experienced engineers: Work closely with senior engineers who will mentor you in software design, architecture, and best practices.
  • Experiment with AI-powered tools: Explore and support the adoption of tools like GitHub Copilot to help engineers write better code faster.
  • Troubleshoot and learn: Help investigate and fix issues that impact developer experience, building problem-solving and debugging skills along the way.
  • You have a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related technical field.
  • 0-2 years of software development experience (internships or academic projects count).
  • Experience with at least one programming language (JavaScript/TypeScript or Python preferred).
  • Basic understanding of how software is built, tested, and deployed (knowledge of Git, GitHub, or CI/CD tools is a plus).
  • Curiosity about cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and willingness to learn modern development practices.
  • A collaborative mindset, strong communication skills, and enthusiasm for helping others succeed.
