Within our Global Banking & Markets business, Client Onboarding Technology is a key engineering group devoted to building critical tools to onboard new Goldman Sachs clients with a focus on efficiency, control, and excellent client service. Our engineers are at the center of our business and our dynamic environment requires innovative strategic thinking and immediate, real solutions. We use both open-source industry standard and internal proprietary technologies to build strategic platforms for onboarding clients through proactive management of the firm's front-to-back onboarding process. This also involves projects requiring document and data digitization through various NLP techniques where engineers work in close partnership with our R&D teams to develop new machine learning methodologies, setting the stage for STP and full automation of various workflows and processes.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science or similar technical field.
  • Proficiency with modern coding languages such as Java, C++, Python.
  • Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDb.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • Team player with positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to a variety of industries and businesses.
  • Ability to self-direct, analyze, evaluate, and form independent judgments.
  • Ability to effectively interact and build relationships with senior management and global stakeholders.
  • Commercially savvy with ability to exercise discretion with respect to highly confidential/sensitive information.
  • Integrity, ethical standards, and sound judgment.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in Finance / FinTech industry.
  • Experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
  • Knowledge or interest in trading technologies in the front-office of a trading organization.
