About The Position

PlanIT Group is hiring an ASP.NET Software Engineer-100% Remote. Software Engineers listen to customers' perspectives and work with Architects and Analysts to make requirements become a reality. As a member of the Program Performance Management Community of Excellence, the successful candidate will be responsible for engagement with customers, Project leaders and architects. They will utilize their development skills to build and support applications on premise and in the cloud. A software engineer will work with the product team and prioritize requirements into a plan to meet milestones and minimum viable products (MVP) that meet schedule, cost, and functional constraints. The successful candidate will work with internal customers to help conceptualize means to apply digital technology as a strategic asset. Software Engineers will work with the business transformation, developer advocacy, and functional leadership teams to identify opportunities to create the desired customer experiences and gather feedback to support iterative, data-driven growth and improvement opportunities, while determining effectiveness of new and current systems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience with full-lifecycle Agile software development.
  • 5+ years experience with .NET Framework, including .NET 6+.
  • 5+ years experience with ASP.NET Web Forms.
  • 5+ years experience with VB.Net and C#.
  • 5+ years experience with SQL, PostgreSQL preferred.
  • 5+ years experience with JavaScript.
  • 3+ years experience with Entity Framework.
  • US Citizenship required due to nature of data access.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with REST/OData Web API.
  • Experience with Angular/TypeScript, PrimeNG is a bonus.
  • Experience with Automated Testing.
  • Experience utilizing JIRA.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps/TFS, including Pipelines and Releases.
  • Experience using Internet Information Services (IIS) to install and configure web apps.
  • Experience with .NET charting libraries, particularly Microsoft Charts.
