WHAT YOU'LL DO Our client base is constantly growing and we’re looking for great software engineers to make our team better. As a Software Engineer, you’ll be a technical contributor for our Aware platform. You’ll be challenged often and will find yourself working on all areas of the application domain across the full app delivery stack. Design and implement highly resilient, scalable, and performant solutions that solve complex healthcare problems using VueJS, NodeJS, Java, Python, AWS and more. Participate in technical and product discussions with leaders across our engineering, product, and business teams. Self-reliance, without supervision, while showcasing best design/communication/solution practices in daily works. Ensure continuously improve our standard of engineering excellence

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or related area
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Strong foundation in computer science principles, including algorithms, data structures, and system design building scalable web applications and backend services
• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, such as version control, testing, and continuous integration
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Go, C#, etc.)
• Familiarity with web technologies, APIs, and distributed systems
• Experience in relational schema design and SQL
• Familiarity with Shift Left and test automation
• Effective communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team
• Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership; proactively identifies opportunities, takes initiative without being asked, and follows through with persistence.
• Travel to and from company headquarters in Austin, Texas is required for new hire orientation, onboarding and occasional company meetings

Nice To Haves

• Experience with generative AI, machine learning, and predictive algorithms
• Familiarity with statistics and healthcare domain
• Expertise with distributed event streaming platforms like Kafka
• Experience with data pipeline technologies
