Requirements

  • 5+ years of software development experience in a professional environment and/or comparable experience
  • Hands-on experience with Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, microservices, SQL, React
  • Good understanding of data structures, algorithms and design patterns
  • Hands-on expertise with application design, software development and automated testing
  • Demonstrated experience in Agile development, application design, software development, and testing
  • RESTful API development experience
  • Experience with continuous integration/deployment (Jenkins, Maven, XLR, Mockito, SOAPUI, JMeter, OpenShift, Public Cloud(AWS/GCP/Azure), Docker).
  • Must be aware or worked on distributed log analytics like Splunk, Kibana
  • Ability to effectively communicate to internal and external business partners on architecture and solution design
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and exploit them to their optimal potential.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related experience required

Nice To Haves

  • Good to have if hands-on experience with any BPM frameworks such as Camunda, JBPM, etc.
  • Preferred experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI), LLMs, Gen-AI and Agentic AI usage

Responsibilities

  • Hands-on Java engineer with expertise in developing complex, large scale enterprise applications
  • Build highly scalable non-blocking microservices using enterprise framework based on Vert.x, Spring Boot
  • Core member of an agile team driving the latest development practices
  • Writing code and unit tests, working with API specs and automation, participating in code review
  • Enable the deployment, support, and monitoring of software across test, integration, and production environments
  • Collaborating with architects, product owners, developers and other scrum teams to deliver a quality product
  • Identifying opportunities for adopting new technologies - influencing team members with creative changes and improvements by challenging status quo
