As a Software Engineer on the Product Team at Qualified, you’ll build the internal tooling that powers how we operate and support our customers. Our team emphasizes rapid experimentation and iteration, with engineers owning the delivery and success of features. This role involves tackling challenging technical problems — from streamlining troubleshooting workflows to developing systems that help teams uncover root causes faster. You will lead projects end-to-end, from identifying pain points to coding, testing, and deployment, while upholding high standards of quality. Additionally, you’ll collaborate closely with customers and internal teams, gathering immediate feedback to ensure your solutions deliver real impact and enhance our operational capabilities and processes.

  • Partner closely with Customer Success, Support, and Product teams to build innovative tools that help teams quickly diagnose and resolve customer issues
  • Create powerful problem-solving systems that transform how our teams identify root causes and implement solutions at scale
  • Own the end-to-end delivery of problem-solving features - from understanding pain points and bottlenecks to coding, testing, and deployment
  • Become a go-to technical resource for escalated customer issues, using your engineering skills to uncover root causes and build lasting solutions
  • Help scale our support infrastructure to handle increasing complexity while maintaining our high customer satisfaction standards
  • 2+ years experience in Full Stack software development
  • Experience with programming languages such as Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, Python, or similar technologies
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and basic system architecture
  • Experience using LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, Gemini) programmatically for developing applications is a plus
  • Experience working with SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
  • Solid software engineering practices, including coding, testing, code reviews, and documentation
  • B.S. or higher in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience)
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with ability to think creatively about technical challenges and customer pain points
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical team members
  • Quick learner, adept at adopting new tools and technologies as the job requires
  • Fearless in stepping outside your comfort zone to tackle various challenges as we rapidly grow our support capabilities
