As part of the Supply Chain Innovation team, you will play a pivotal role in building end-to-end, best-in-class software solutions for Apple's Supply Chain needs, ranging from Supply Planning and Demand Planning to Product Distribution and beyond. You will collaborate with various internal stakeholders to define and implement solutions that optimize Apple's internal business processes. We are seeking an individual who thrives on tackling challenges and finding creative solutions. The ideal candidate should excel in collaborative environments and produce high-quality software under tight deadlines. Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, and able to work independently, while collaborating effectively with multi-functional teams across the globe (US, Singapore, India, and Europe). This role will have a direct impact on Apple's business, requiring interaction with various internal teams to deliver cutting-edge products in a dynamic, ever-evolving environment.

Requirements

• M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent.
• AI/ML-related experience is a plus.
• A strong understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, and RAG is a plus.
• Experience in developing applications for the Supply Chain business domain is a plus.
• Experience in leading and mentoring engineers.
• Ability to successfully manage and collaborate with contractors.
• Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Team lead experience is a plus.
• Occasionally, will need to handle application production (warranty) support.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize highly scalable, distributed systems, leveraging cloud-native technologies and micro services architecture to build robust and resilient solutions.
• Lead proof-of-concept projects and pilot implementations to showcase new ideas.
• Strive for excellence by continuously seeking ways to enhance system reliability, performance, and security.
• Contribute to design and code reviews, and assist in debugging and resolving issues.
• Contribute to solution and architectural design reviews.
• Develop system components and take full responsibility for the timely delivery, quality, and performance of the team's work.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, QA, support teams, and end users.
