Software Engineer - Frontend
About The Position
We are seeking a Frontend Software Engineer to help design, develop, and enhance user interfaces for a high-impact software platform in identity and access management. In this role, you will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to build scalable, maintainable, and visually compelling features. You will contribute to architectural decisions, implement testing strategies, and ensure high-quality, performant code. You will play a key role in shaping the frontend experience, balancing technical excellence with user-centric design.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development with React, TypeScript, and CSS.
- 1+ year experience using TypeScript in production React applications.
- Experience with frontend testing frameworks: jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Strong understanding of asynchronous state management and React hooks.
- Experience with complex state management solutions (Redux, Zustand, Jotai, etc.).
- Familiarity with component documentation tools like Storybook.
- Strong problem-solving skills, collaboration, and communication in agile environments.
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement UI components and features using React, TypeScript, and CSS.
- Write and maintain unit tests (jest) and end-to-end tests (Cypress or similar frameworks).
- Collaborate with team leads, product managers, and designers to deliver features, bug fixes, and improvements.
- Contribute to frontend architecture, codebase standards, and component libraries.
- Work with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand, Jotai) to manage complex application state.
- Document components and UI workflows using Storybook and other tools.
- Analyze metrics and telemetry to improve user experience and system performance.
