This highly skilled front-end engineer, as part of the Digital Engineering team, will be responsible for building modern, scalable, and intuitive web applications. This role bridges design and engineering to deliver high-quality, responsive, and reliable user experiences that support customer workflows and scale across multiple engineering teams and products. Scope of Position: This position has no direct supervisory responsibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional front-end development experience, including strong experience with React and TypeScript
  • Hands-on experience with modern build tools such as Vite, Parcel, or Webpack
  • Experience working in monorepo environments using Nx or Turborepo
  • Proficiency with schema validation libraries such as Zod or equivalent tools
  • Experience building interactive data visualizations using D3, Plotly, or similar libraries
  • Experience with modern state management patterns and front-end testing frameworks
  • Strong troubleshooting skills related to browser performance and UI reliability
  • Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code in TypeScript and React, and participate in code reviews to ensure alignment with standards and best practices
  • Build responsive, accessible user interfaces using React and TypeScript
  • Configure and optimize build tools such as Vite, Webpack, or Nx to support efficient development and production builds
  • Develop and maintain reusable UI components in Storybook to ensure product-wide consistency
  • Implement rich, interactive data visualizations using libraries such as D3, Plotly, or equivalent tools
  • Translate product requirements and design mockups into intuitive, mobile-friendly user experiences
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver cohesive end-to-end solutions
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability, particularly when working with large data sets
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and frameworks and recommend appropriate tools based on business and technical needs
  • Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by direct leader or Company management.
