Excelity is seeking a Front End Software Engineer for a project responsible for building the next generation Mission Integration System for an exciting Government customer with a very critical mission. The candidate will work with the engineering team and customer to ensure successful development of high profile, complex, technical deliverables that are core to the continued success of our award-winning projects. Description: Candidate will develop services using modern techniques such as REST, JSON, Python, JavaScript Web UI frameworks (e.g., JQuery, Angular, React), and Docker. Candidate will perform test-driven software engineering and development activities associated with designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing analytic systems using an Agile DevSecOps model. Candidate will use processes and tools that support the DevSecOps pipeline including JIRA, Git, Junit, Jenkins, SonarQube, Fortify, and Artifactory Candidate will measure and optimize service execution using tools such as AppDynamics, CloudWatch, and Splunk.

  • Develop services using modern techniques such as REST, JSON, Python, JavaScript Web UI frameworks (e.g., JQuery, Angular, React), and Docker.
  • Perform test-driven software engineering and development activities associated with designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing analytic systems using an Agile DevSecOps model.

  • Measure and optimize service execution using tools such as AppDynamics, CloudWatch, and Splunk.
  • A Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR a Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement
  • Agile software development using Python, JavaScript
  • Tools/Skills: Vue.js, React, Java, Python
  • Knowledge of API design best practices and data governance.
  • Must have experience using Neo4j
  • Node.js experience
  • TS/SCI w/ CI Poly
  • Knowledge of Postgres
  • AWS experience
  • Experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes
