About The Position

Gundersen Health System is seeking a Software Engineer - Front End Developer to play a vital role in building user interfaces for healthcare applications. The role is primarily onsite in Onalaska, Wisconsin, with potential for remote work limited to residents of Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Solid understanding of automated testing tools and practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with JavaScript using React or similar frameworks.
• Familiarity with API backends using REST or GraphQL.
• Experience with Content Management Systems like Drupal or WordPress.
• Knowledge of Agile and/or Scrum frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD systems such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
