About The Position

Codeware is seeking a Software Engineer for its FEA development team in its Sarasota, FL office. This position involves collaboration with Engineers and the Management team to research and validate features such as new Codes and Standards that are planned for development. Codeware provides a competitive salary and benefits package to all full-time employees.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Programming experience in Python (C, C++ or C# an asset)
Experience with FEA methods an asset
Understanding of ASME VIII an asset
Strong math skills
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent problem solving skills.
Able to communicate in a clear and concise manner.
Comfortable multitasking.
Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Committed to professional advancement through continuous learning.

Nice To Haves

Programming experience in C, C++ or C#
Experience with FEA methods
Understanding of ASME VIII

Responsibilities

Applies the latest programming concepts and tools to further develop Codeware's FEA functionality.
Assists with refactoring the established code base.
Performs application profiling to optimize performance.
Assists with other projects as assigned.
This individual will work with our Software Engineers and Management teams to facilitate the successful application of Codeware's FEA functionality.
