Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in coding with C/C++, Java, Python or Go.
  • 2 years of experience in architecting and developing large-scale distributed systems.
  • 2 years of experience in concurrency, multithreading and synchronization.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years of experience with Application Programming Interface (API) and language design.
  • 2 years of experience working on data infrastructure products or with data infrastructure team.
  • Experience with backend infrastructure work and comfortable with distributed systems.

Responsibilities

  • Enhance F1 execution kernel with advanced query features, making them accessible across all data sources and query stacks, including F1 and Table Services.
  • Work on UTM (Unified Table Metadata), a standardized portrayal for table metadata that powers query planning and data processing for various DANI products such as F1, Conduite, Sawmill, Napa, and serve as a vital component for F1 execution kernel and Table API ecosystems.
  • Enhance the F1 Execution Kernel and UTM(Unified Table Metadata) to boost data processing and analysis efficiency within the Gemini Era. This aims to address disk space limitations in AI/ML, improve agent performance, and transform F1 Query into a unified interface for federated vector and structured queries of first-party data.
  • Contribute as a key member of the team, actively participate in code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing.
