Next Generation Spectacles are our first pair of glasses that bring augmented reality to life . We're looking for a Software Engineer to join the Spectacles team!
Requirements
- Ability to craft scalable solutions in a resource constraint environment with due considerations for memory, power, thermal tradeoffs
- Excellent analytical, programming and debugging skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Hands on experience developing camera software st
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical field such as computer science or electrical engineering or equivalent years of experience
- Proficiency programming in C++ and/or Kotlin/Java
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: Operating Systems, Android/Linux Embedded OS and Framework with a view towards writing performant and energy efficient solutions

- Advanced degree in a relevant field such as computer science or electrical engineering
Responsibilities
- Design and implementation of software in both prototype and shipping consumer products
- Conduct design reviews and code review with peers and stakeholders to create reliable solutions
- Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues
- Design and develop SW for Spectacle’s OS and Application Framework for AR devices
- Collaborate with Design, Product, and Engineering teams distributed across multiple offices
