You will be the Software Engineer Sr for the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) team. Our team is responsible for designing, developing, and manufacturing precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries. As a Software Engineer Sr at MFC, you will join one of the largest networks of software professionals, implementing cutting edge technologies on both existing and new development platforms.   • Develop Embedded Software in C/C++ (version 11 or higher)
  • Integrate algorithms into C/C++ applications
  • Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities
  • Design, develop, document, test, and debug software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment.
  • Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software.
  • Correct program errors, prepares operating instructions, compile documentation of program development, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.
  • Must have Active SECRET Clearance
  • BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering or related field
  • The candidate must have previous HWIL experience working with real time embedded systems using both HW/SW
  • Proficiency in C/C++ (version 11 or higher for C++)
  • Proficiency in Linux systems and Real-Time Operating Environment
  • Experience working in cross-discipline/cross-functional teams
  • Experience Integrating hardware and software
  • Experience in real-time software generation, with hands-on experience related to hardware testing and/or embedded systems and/or a simulation systems
  • Ability to physically come on site in Dallas and work in labs to support integration
  • MS or greater in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Ada experience
  • Full software development life cycle experience
  • Git, Gitlab, JIRA
  • Agile experience (scrum)
  • Experience integrating closed loop systems
  • Experience with automated testing frame works as well unit testing
  • Experience with low level software development /device drivers
