About The Position

This role provides the opportunity to design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems that power a fast-growing automotive platform. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 2–5 years of experience in backend development with a focus on APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems.
  • Experience in Agile development environments delivering production-ready software.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and relational databases (PostgreSQL or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with system observability tools (e.g., DataDog) and DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Elixir and Phoenix is a plus; willingness to learn new technologies is encouraged.

Responsibilities

  • Build scalable, secure, and reliable API-based backend services that meet performance and availability targets.
  • Support production systems, maintain uptime, and participate in on-call rotations to resolve incidents.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineering teams, and infrastructure teams to deliver maintainable solutions aligned with business goals.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevSecOps practices to ensure the security and reliability of production systems.
  • Document API designs, system architecture, and operational procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing.
  • Participate in team efforts to improve development standards, mentor peers, and maintain high-quality code.
