Work Arrangement: Hybrid: This means the successful candidate is expected to report to their primary location (Pontiac, MI) three times per week, at minimum, or other frequency dictated by the business. The Role: This role is for an Electric Drive Application Senior Software Engineer within the Electric Propulsion Conversion Control (EPCC) development ART. In this role, the candidate will design, develop, implement, and test embedded application software to be used in electric drive propulsion applications. The candidate will coordinate with engineers from areas such as requirements, controls, calibration, power electronics design, controller design, and motor design to deliver electric drive software for the world’s best electrified vehicles. This role is growing in response to the dramatic growth of battery electric and hybrid vehicle markets as well as GM’s expanding Electrification portfolio. In this role you must have a passion for electrification and a desire to become an integral part of our exciting new corporate vision: Zero Crashes, Zero Emissions, and Zero Congestion. The selected candidate will lead the development of controls and diagnostics within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), using appropriate common methods.
