About The Position

Everlaw is looking for a Software Engineer to join our team in Oakland, CA. This is an amazing opportunity to launch your engineering career, make a real impact on our product and grow your skills with a team that's committed to your success. Our mission is to promote justice by illuminating truth, and we do this with our ediscovery platform. You'll have the opportunity to explore our entire system with significant autonomy across the stack. We empower engineers to follow their interests and build the right functionality in the right way, without imposing deadlines. We really care about code quality and making it easy to maintain, which is why we don't do sprints. Sprints promise to accelerate development, but often do the opposite. Read more about why Everlaw strays away from sprints here. Engineering is the backbone of the Everlaw Platform. Quality product is at the core of everything we do - and our considered approach to development keeps us at the forefront of technological innovation. Rather than being a cog in a much larger project, most features at Everlaw are built end-to-end by a single engineer, product lead and designer. Our company culture is open and vibrant and we're committed to the professional growth of our team members. Whether you're building code or building community, our teams are driven by innovation and a shared mission to tackle the biggest challenges in society. If you're looking for a place that values passion, integrity, thinking big, and a desire to learn, we'd love to hear from you!
