There are still lots of open positions. Let's find the one that's right for you.
DevDocs hires developers to help our clients build amazing docs. It sounds simple, but it’s incredibly rare in the technical writing world to hire software developers. We’ve been around for over three years (self-funded), working on all kinds of projects for several clients like Qualcomm or American Express. This role is specifically hiring for a full-time in-person placement at C3.ai’s office at 1400 Seaport Blvd, Redwood City. You’ll be working alongside other in-person DevDocs engineers to map how C3’s product works. We’re looking for curious, driven devs who want to work directly with clients to understand their biggest pain points and solve them. Deliver real value through both code and written documentation (yes, sometimes you’ll write docs, but the focus is on using your dev skills to improve them). Collaborate with a team of developers who genuinely enjoy what they do. Leverage every tool in the toolbox—code, AI, CLINE, software like Pipedream, manual writing, or whatever else helps us create great docs efficiently. We will teach you how to write docs well using our methodologies, tools, and insights. That is what we have spent the last 3 years learning, so you are not expected to be an expert in it. You are expected to be able to learn at a deep level how C3’s enterprise software works, read source code, write code to see how the system works, and meet with subject matter experts to extract how to use C3’s software. This job involves a large amount of learning on a continuous basis.
