What to Expect As a Software Engineer (DevOps), you will play a critical role in ensuring our engineering team can quickly and safely deploy software across our data collection and robot stacks. This includes managing software and infrastructure deployments, building out continuous integration workflows for automated testing, and maintaining best practices for cloud and on-prem network security.
Requirements
- 5+ years in a DevOps, IT, or Security Engineering roles
- Experiencing implementing infrastructure-as-code with Terraform or CloudFormation
- Deep understanding of network security and mobile device management
- Experience developing CI/CD pipelines with tools such as GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or Jenkins
- Experience managing cloud deployments on AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash

- Experience with web development technologies
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain automated pipelines (using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Docker) to build, test, and package robot software and cloud services reliably
- Deploy and scale cloud infrastructure (using Terraform and Kubernetes on AWS/GCP) for backend services and fleet management
- Implement robust monitoring and logging systems, and build secure Over-the-Air (OTA) update mechanisms
