About The Position

The Global Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC-Global) team is engineering, developing and integrating new capability for the Missile Defense System that currently protects the United States and its allies. The team, as a whole, is very large but is broken down into many smaller agile teams that work together in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The C2BMC-Global team is responsible for tasks such as Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development, Automated Testing, Cyber Security and enhancing other critical, leading-edge missile defense technologies. The team is growing rapidly and we are looking for hardworking, dedicated people that will help us be successful. This job requisition is for the C2BMC-Global program and is open in order to fill a Software Development Internship position.

Requirements

• Must be able to acquire and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance by Start
• Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance
• Minimal Java coding experience
• Pursuit of a BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline

Nice To Haves

• An active TS/SCI Clearance
• Familiarity with the 'SAFe Agile' process
• Familiarity with Linux operating system
• Strong verbal/written communications skills enabling them to work effectively in a team environment
