About The Position

Pantheon WebOps Platform powers the open web, running more than 300,000 sites in the cloud for customers including Google, Princeton, Salesloft and Doctors Without Borders. Every day, thousands of developers and marketers create, iterate, and scale WordPress and Drupal sites to reach billions of people globally. Pantheon’s multitenant, container-based platform enables organizations to manage all of their websites from a single dashboard. Organizations including Clorox and the United Nations drive results through accelerated development and real-time publishing using Pantheon’s collaborative workflows. The Role The Pantheon Developer Experience Team is looking for a Software Engineer, focused on improving the core software that our customers use to deploy code and interact with our platform. In this role, you will enhance Pantheon’s ability to integrate with Github, Gitlab and other external VCS providers, ensuring our platform delivers top-tier performance, stability, and user experience for developers and content creators. You’ll work on building new services and maintaining existing ones that keep Pantheon at the cutting edge of web development. You will work on a wide variety of technologies, including Go, node, Python, Kubernetes and Google Cloud Run.

Requirements

  • Passion for continuous learning on a diverse technical stack.
  • Desire to build new features and push the capabilities of the product forward.
  • Capacity to work carefully and meticulously, to ensure products are reliable and well tested, and deployments are stable.
  • Good writing skills, to contribute to technical documentation.
  • Ability to work well with cross-functional teams.
  • 2-5 years of experience working with complex distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with Next.js, Go and Kubernetes.
  • Demonstrated capability to work with diverse technical stacks.
  • RESTful and Graphql APIs, databases and revision control systems.
