About The Position

The position requires a highly skilled individual with a strong background in software development and DevOps practices. The candidate must be a U.S. citizen with an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph due to federal contract requirements. The role involves managing tools for development, deployment, and integrated testing, as well as working with CI/CD frameworks. The candidate will also need to have meaningful System Administration experience, primarily in Windows and Linux environments, and be familiar with various programming languages and development tools.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must have TS/SCI clearance with active polygraph.
• At least five (5) years of direct/relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Five (5) years of additional relevant experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• Solid understanding of DevOps.
• At least 5 years of experience managing tools for development, deployment, and integrated testing.
• At least 5 years of experience working with CI/CD frameworks.
• Meaningful System Administration experience (mostly Windows but also Linux).
• Experience with several programming languages and scripting.
• Experience with IDEs and software source control tools.
• Experience working in a virtualized environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQL Server.
• Experience with Web Application User Interface Development.
• Knowledge of Spring Framework.
• Experience working with AngularJS, JSON, HTML, XML, XSLT.
• Experience with Scrum and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology.
• SAFe Agilest Certification or experience as a member of an Agile team.

Responsibilities

• Manage tools for development, deployment, and integrated testing.
• Work with CI/CD frameworks.
• Perform System Administration tasks primarily in Windows and Linux environments.
• Utilize programming languages such as Java, Groovy, Python, PowerShell, Batch, and Bash scripting.
• Work with IDEs like Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, and WebStorm.
• Manage software source control and configuration management tools.
• Work in a virtualized environment and manage VMs.
• Utilize container-based platforms for automated application deployment.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Plan and prioritize tasks to support team sprint goals.
