The team is responsible for building Database Services in both Public and Private Clouds, as well as the Oracle Autonomous Database, which is known for its self-driving, self-securing, and self-repairing capabilities. The work done by this team impacts billions of users worldwide, supporting critical systems in sectors such as telecommunications, healthcare, finance, and government services. The goal is to enhance the productivity and possibilities for businesses and individuals alike, with over 30% of the largest companies already leveraging Oracle's database cloud technologies. As a Software Engineer in this role, you will engage in full-stack development of various databases, including Oracle NoSQL Database and Oracle Times-Ten In-Memory Database. The responsibilities will encompass working on distributed databases, scalability, high availability, security, and analytics, among other areas. You will also have the opportunity to develop in-database machine learning and AI algorithms, contributing to both customer success and the autonomy of Oracle's products.
