Requirements

  • Experience designing and implementing batch data pipelines with SQLMesh, DBT, or similar frameworks.
  • Strong skills in SQL and relational data modeling concepts.
  • Proficiency in Python, Java, and/or other languages used for pipeline orchestration and platform tooling.
  • Familiarity with data quality approaches and monitoring in modern data platforms.
  • Collaborative mindset with ability to work closely with business and technical stakeholders to define logic.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, able to translate complex technical ideas to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable batch data pipelines using SQLMesh (or equivalents such as DBT) for robust, reliable data delivery.
  • Own our OLAP data storage strategy and implement performant solutions for data access.
  • Develop and optimize relational data models to support analytical and operational needs.
  • Implement and monitor data quality strategies to ensure accuracy and consistency of delivered datasets.
  • Build internal platform tooling to streamline pipeline development, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Partner closely with business and analytics teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective pipeline logic.
  • Promote best practices in batch data engineering, data governance, and infrastructure optimizations.
