The Cyber Secure Software Application Security team is seeking a highly skilled and collaborative Cyber Software Engineer to join our Application Security team, who possesses not only a strong technical foundation in software development and cybersecurity, as well as exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills to effectively partner with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive innovative cybersecurity solutions. As a Cyber Software Engineer on the Application Security team, you will play a key role in strengthening the software assurance posture for our AMMM Line of Business (LOB). You will collaborate with top-tier professionals to identify vulnerabilities, construct threat models, and support integration of advanced tooling to automate processes and strengthen Lockheed Martin's security posture.   • Conducting comprehensive assessments of code to uncover security vulnerabilities and map potential attack vectors
  • Managing partnerships and relationships with Software Development teams to integrate static and dynamic analysis capabilities into their pipelines
  • Support integration of advanced tools to automate the security assessments of software products
  • Developing the execution of fuzz testing protocols on embedded systems to unearth latent weaknesses and fortify defenses against potential exploits
  • Evaluating open-source packages to identify vulnerabilities and maliciously implanted software
  • Managing and maintaining the team's current tooling and responsible for maintaining cost & schedule performance within the context of their projects
  • Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Program Managers, the customer, and other internal LM teams
  • Development of new policies and procedure to standardize and improve how we secure our software products at LM Aero
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
  • Experience in software development, cybersecurity, or related field
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Ada, C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks, regulations, and standards
  • AMMM software development experience is a plus
  • Experience leading engineering projects
  • Active Security Clearance
  • Embedded software development experience (Ada, C, C++, Rust, etc.)
  • Knowledge of or experience in multiple types of front end development
  • Scripting/CI experience (Gitlab, Jenkins, Python, bash, etc.)
  • Containerization tool experience
  • Knowledge of or experience with relational databases
  • Experience on multiple operating systems including Greenhill's or similar
  • Understanding of secure coding principles, cryptographic protocols, and threat modeling techniques
  • Experience with cybersecurity tools and technologies such as vulnerability scanners and fuzz testing frameworks
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Adaptability and proficiency in collaborating across diverse teams
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Experience with cost and schedule management for engineering projects
  • Proactive self-starter with the ability to learn rapidly and work independently
  • Advanced Cyber Security Certifications a Plus
