CommunityAmerica Federal Credit Union seeks a Software Engineer – CRM for Lenexa, Kansas.

  • The Software Engineer – CRM will develop components, functionalities and integrations to be used in Optimizely CMS.
  • Collaborate with lead engineers and product team to translate business needs into technical requirements, efforts, and timelines.
  • Develop features and proof of concepts, and work with team to participate in design and code reviews.
  • Drive data integrations between our platforms, including CMS integration with Customer Data Platform.
  • Proactively provide feedback to the team in mitigating risks and removing recurring obstacles.
  • Ensure CommunityAmerica.com performs and scales well with minimal downtime and develop features for upcoming CMS releases and security fixes.
  • Be a positive influence in the team to encourage healthy development, clear communication, and on-time delivery.
  • Remain current on modern web technologies and make recommendations that address business needs.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies to ensure high-quality software is delivered within schedule constraints.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field and five years progressive experience, which must include experience in the following:
  • Developing C# or Java-based enterprise web applications.
  • Hands-on software development.
  • Working knowledge of frontend web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience building data integrations by utilizing RESTful APIs ensuring seamless data flow and functionality across platforms.
  • Experience working with business analysts to understand requirements and develop software solutions.
  • Implementing a software development lifecycle, common DevOps patterns, and source control management.
  • Experience with cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Understanding of object-oriented design and programming concepts.
  • Ability to write clean, solid, readable code that scales and performs well.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and complete tasks within timelines.
  • Sound knowledge of XML and JSON.
  • Understanding of API design and common authentication methods (OAuth, JWT, etc.).
  • Ability to quickly diagnose performance issues and recommend optimizations.
  • Sound knowledge of SQL and understanding of relational databases.
  • Applicants must have legal authority to work in the United States.
