About The Position

In this role, you will build the end-to-end experiences that help homeowners understand their options, evaluate financing, and connect with installers in their area. You will ship across the stack and across the problem space. That includes product features, experimentation and analytics, operational tooling, and the integrations that keep the funnel healthy and measurable. This is a high-ownership role for someone who can move fast, communicate clearly, and make smart tradeoffs. You will help the team deliver MVPs that meet business goals, then iterate with real customer feedback and data.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional software engineering experience with a track record of shipping high-quality work
  • Strong proficiency in Python, Ruby, or Javascript
  • Experience with modern front-end frameworks, with React strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively partner with product managers, designers, and other engineers
  • A passion for solving complex problems and a commitment to writing clean, maintainable code
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative, ask questions, and propose solutions

Responsibilities

  • Partner with engineers, product managers, and designers to build and improve our consumer-facing platform
  • Design, develop, and deploy high-quality front-end and back-end code that improves the solar buying experience
  • Participate in the full development lifecycle, from concept and design through implementation, testing, and deployment
  • Champion code quality through thoughtful reviews and strong testing practices to ensure reliability and scalability
  • Help raise the bar through continuous improvement, including proposing solutions, participating in retrospectives, and strengthening team processes
