Software Engineer – Cloud & DevOps will design, develop, implement, and maintain large-scale applications in production environments. This role requires expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Azure, along with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure software solutions adhere to best practices and security standards.

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot, deployed on Azure.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, IT architects, technical leads, and internal stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues across on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Create detailed technical specifications, requirements, and estimates for development tasks.
  • Apply domain-driven design and test-driven development practices to enhance software quality.
  • Research and implement new technologies to improve processes, performance, and security.
  • Support and enforce coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines.
  • Work closely with software architects and technical leads to ensure solutions meet enterprise growth and scalability requirements.
  • Participate in DevOps processes including Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD), as needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience/training.
  • 7+ years of experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including design, development, implementation, monitoring, and support of large-scale applications.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Azure.
  • Experience with Spark, Python, and Microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of Databases such as Oracle or Postgres.
  • Experience with Databricks and front-end frameworks like Ext JS.
  • Familiarity with DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and toolchains.
