Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
2 years of experience building and managing distributed software systems and infrastructure.
1 year of experience with ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, optimization, data processing, debugging).
Experience with GenAI techniques (e.g., LLMs, multimodal, large vision models) or with GenAI-related concepts (e.g., language modeling, computer vision).

Nice To Haves

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
Experience developing accessible technologies.
Experience with GCP Services like GCE, BigQuery, or Spanner.
Experience with Deep Learning/Machine Learning.
Experience with artificial intelligence.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with peers and stakeholders through design and code reviews to ensure best practices amongst available technologies (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
Implement GenAI solutions, utilize ML infrastructure, and contribute to data preparation, optimization, and performance enhancements.
Develop AI Query Engine capabilities, designing new AI Operators and SQL features with task-specific syntax that automatically selects models for tasks like classification and summarization.
Enhance AI outputs via automatic prompt optimization, context enrichment, and user feedback loops, and building systems with observability features and cost management controls.
