Software Engineer, Backend (ML Team)

In this role, you'll help design and develop backend systems, work on system architecture, and build event-driven microservices. You'll also collaborate on API integrations and contribute to products that impact thousands of users. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of backend development experience and is skilled in PostgreSQL and microservices architecture.
Requirements
- 3+ years of backend development experience
- Master's degree in computer science or a related field
- Fluency in Python, REST and relational database technology, such as PostgreSQL
- Experience in designing and implementing APIs, with familiarity with familiarity in microservices oriented architecture
- Knowledge of testing methodologies and a proven ability to work independently with exceptional interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Develop backend infrastructure from inception to implementation
- Cultivate expertise across technical and business domains, steering clear of professional pigeonholing
- Collaborate with the engineering team to design architecture and system frameworks for new product initiatives
- Opportunity to contribute to the development of event driven microservices
- Develop internal tools and seamlessly integrate with external APIs
- Contribute to the expansion, testing, and release of products that positively impact thousands of customers
