Software Engineer Associate
About The Position
General Dynamics Mission Systems is seeking a Software Engineer Associate to develop solutions supporting the missions of national service members, intelligence analysts, and first responders. The role offers the opportunity to redefine innovation and excellence by applying advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, AR/VR, Cloud Native, and Quantum Physics to solve customer missions across various domains including cyber, RF, undersea, and interstellar space. Working within a team, the Software Engineer will assist project leaders in the research, design, development, and testing of software and tools. This includes creating new work products or enhancing existing applications, systems, or embedded products, and may involve coding, testing, and documenting software solutions to advance technology.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field
- 3 + years of related experience
- Ability to obtain a Department of Defense TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance at time of hire
- Subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Clear understanding of software engineering concepts, principles, and theories
- Clear understanding of the software development process
