About The Position

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong technical foundation.
• Proven experience in mentoring and coaching engineers, fostering growth and collaboration.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and development best practices.
• Hands-on experience managing applications in development, staging, and production environments.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and backlog management.
• Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Supervisory experience, able to motivate and guide team members effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead software projects from start to finish, including backlog prioritization, defect management, and enhancement planning.
• Collaborate with business analysts and product managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Shape architecture and design of applications, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Guide and mentor small to medium-sized teams, setting expectations, evaluating performance, and providing technical leadership.
• Facilitate daily standups, retrospectives, inception meetings, and iteration planning sessions to promote effective communication and continuous improvement.
• Advocate for robust CI/CD practices and responsible deployment processes from testing to production.
• Support knowledge sharing and team development to enhance the collective expertise of the engineering community.
