The Product Security Anti-Tamper Team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma is growing and currently seeking a Software Security Engineer – Anti-Tamper. This position will focus on supporting the Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers (MS&B) division business organization. This position includes the opportunity to integrate new architectures and key security and control features using Boeing-designed hardware and other COTS hardware/software. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post Start is required. Potential Signing Bonus for Eligible/Qualified candidate. Position Overview: The Boeing Company is seeking innovative engineers to lead the software architecture and development efforts for key computing assets embedded in the most advanced Boeing defense platforms. Successful candidates for this role will lead the development and maintenance of hardware and software based product security solutions for the protection of critical military information and technology.

Requirements

  • 9+ years of experience of software development in avionics or real-time embedded systems / firmware design using C/C++, Ada, and/or Java
  • 1+ years of experience of technical leadership
  • 1+ years of experience utilizing Agile tools (Jira)
  • Ability to develop code for usability, readability, and maintainability.
  • Experience with collaboration across multiple teams and locations in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor degree or higher from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance

Nice To Haves

  • 14+ years of experience of software development in avionics or real-time embedded systems / firmware design using C/C++, Ada, and/or Java
  • 5+ years of experience of technical leadership
  • 1+ years of experience with lifecycle Configuration management (CM) tools experience (GitLab)
  • Experience working in a DevSecOps environment
  • Experience with cryptography and other security protocols
  • Working knowledge in the field of cyber security, secure computing and/or anti-tamper

Responsibilities

  • Develops, documents and maintains architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems
  • Lead the development of secure software methodologies to generate detailed, repeatable, automated test points, plans and procedures.
  • Support and be accountable to program engineering leads and management in day-to-day task activities, accomplishments, issues, and concerns.
  • Highly motivated and exhibit strong written and verbal communication, inter-personal, and problem solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and effectively with external customers and subcontractors in a multi-site and multi-discipline program and environment.
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret US Security Clearance Pre-Start for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
  • Must be eligible and willing to obtain additional security clearances.
