About The Position

Notion is on a mission to empower individuals and teams to tailor their software to solve any problem. We are looking for interns to join us in our New York or San Francisco office from January 26 to April 17. During this 12-week internship, you will work closely with our team to build and ship AI projects that will have a significant impact on our customers and engineers. You will be paired with a mentor to guide you through the process. Your contributions will help us maintain a fast, reliable, and secure experience for millions of users.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Must graduate before December 2026.
• Previous internship experience.
• Working towards proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Typescript, Node.js, or Python.
• Ability to problem-solve and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Expertise with specific technologies that are part of our stack, including Typescript, React, Python.
• Familiarity with computing pioneers like Ada Lovelace, Douglas Engelbart, Alan Kay.
• Interests outside of technology, such as in art, history, or social sciences.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, secure, tested, and documented code.
• Design and enhance the Notion AI product with new capabilities.
• Develop, fix, and debug software across our full stack: web services, databases, applications, tools.
