About The Position

At Pylon, we're building the future of B2B Post Sales. We’re building the all-in-one B2B post-sales support platform powered by conversational data and layered with intelligence to help our customers run their operations in real-time. We’re backed by YCombinator, General Catalyst, and a16z. Pylon is a tool that thousands of users spend most of their day in. Currently, 500+ companies including Linear, Cognition (makers of Devin), Modal Labs, and Incident.io use us every day to run their support and customer success workflows. Our product has a very large problem space so there’s a ton of stuff to build and take ownership of - we’d be excited to get your help as we're hiring several extremely talented software engineers across the stack.

Requirements

• Strong engineering fundamentals
• Ability to code efficiently
• Willingness to take ownership of details and project manage work
• Desire to focus on building and shipping code rather than attending meetings
• Located in SF or willing to relocate
• Preference for in-person work

Nice To Haves

• Experience with React
• Experience with Golang
• Experience with GraphQL
• Experience with AWS

Responsibilities

• Build the platforms that power Pylon's AI features - prompt executions, search infra, and more!
• Improve LLM observability - AI evals (online and offline), scorers, and set up Pylon's AI for the next wave of scaling
• Improve the quality and performance of AI features
