Requirements

1–5 years of software engineering experience (backend or full-stack)
Strong proficiency in Python or TypeScript
Experience building production-grade, scalable applications
Background in high-growth startups or strong engineering environments (big tech with progression)
Product-minded with ability to translate real-world problems into technical solutions
Comfortable working onsite in San Francisco

Nice To Haves

Experience building or working with AI/LLM systems, agents, or automation tools
Background in healthtech, fintech, or other regulated industries
Experience with internal tools like Retool or similar platforms
Familiarity with integrations (APIs, third-party systems)
Strong academic background (top CS programs or equivalent)

Responsibilities

Build and deploy AI-powered agent systems for real-world healthcare workflows
Develop scalable backend systems and APIs using Python and/or TypeScript
Own features end-to-end, from design and implementation to deployment and iteration
Work closely with product managers to translate customer needs into technical solutions
Collaborate with customers (healthcare providers) to implement and customize solutions
Build systems that integrate with external tools (EHRs, CRMs, communication platforms)
Ensure systems meet security and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA)
Operate in a fast-paced environment, solving ambiguous problems with high ownership
