About The Position

The Software Engineer Advisor at Federal Express Corporation is responsible for leading the design, development, troubleshooting, and debugging of complex software programs. This role involves overseeing the full development life cycle of software enhancements and new products, conducting systems programming tests, and mentoring less experienced team members.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years of qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment.
• Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field plus 4 years of experience in the job offered or 4 years of qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment.
• Experience with Java, J2EE, Microservices Architecture (SpringBoot, Resilience4J, SpringCloud components, 12-factor patterns).
• Proficiency in Node JS and GraphQL.
• Experience with Relational Database Management Systems (Oracle) and NoSQL Database (MongoDB).
• Familiarity with PaaS (PCF) and CI/CD using automated pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub).
• Scripting experience to manage server scripts (Linux).
• Knowledge of API Design First Strategy, Governance, and Version Management (SwaggerHub).
• Experience with operational visibility tools (AppDynamics, DynaTrace, Splunk).
