We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer with proven experience in installing, configuring, developing, and integrating prototype applications for technical evaluation. The engineer will be supporting a lab environment providing support for customers developing and testing experiments. Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph).

Requirements

  • TS/SCI with agency appropriate poly
  • Bachelor's degree plus 11 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
  • Computer Science (CS) degree or related field.
  • Experience integrating with customer's cloud-based data systems.
  • Experience installing, configuring, developing, and integrating prototype applications for technical evaluation
  • Strong development experience in a variety of languages (ex., java, python).

  • Modeling experience.
  • Machine Learning experience.
  • Experience with Docker containers and Kubernetes.
  • Dev experience on Linux platforms.
  • Analytics development experience.
  • Virtual Machine (VM) experience

Responsibilities

  • Develop capabilities designed to help solve common problems arising from various analyst offices.
  • Prototype development to extend enterprise services, support analytics, enhance machine learning, and develop commercial cloud solutions.
  • Support the integration and evaluation of open source, emerging technologies, and new COTS applications. Work directly with customers, developers, or data scientists to gather requirements and feedback.
