The Gen AI Group (GAI) is developing next-generation AI-powered solutions that transform both our customer-facing products and internal applications. As a Software Engineer II in GAI, you’ll contribute to building and deploying advanced AI systems, working closely with senior engineers and technical leaders to deliver impactful solutions. This role provides the opportunity to work hands-on with cutting-edge AI/ML technologies , deepen your expertise, and grow toward greater technical ownership. Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with Python .
• Experience building and operating complex backend systems, services, or data pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with using(e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor ).
• Experience with modern LLM platforms and libraries such as OpenAI/Anthropic API, Langchain, etc.
• Strong understanding of prompt engineering principles and practical experience building on top of LLMs and RAG.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with technologies in our stack (e.g., Airflow, Elasticsearch, REST APIs ).
• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps , and infrastructure best practices.
• Experience with or interest in AI evangelism —sharing knowledge through documentation, workshops, or technical sessions.

Responsibilities

• AI Application Development : Build and integrate AI models, services, and pipelines into production systems, ensuring reliability and performance.
• Collaboration : Partner with senior engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Prompt & LLM Engineering : Apply prompt engineering best practices and build applications on top of LLMs, agents, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Backend Development : Contribute to backend systems and services that power AI-driven features.
• Operational Excellence : Write clean, maintainable code, participate in code reviews, and follow best practices for testing, monitoring, and deployment.
• Continuous Learning : Stay up-to-date with advancements in AI and bring ideas back to the team.
