About The Position

This role is central to enhancing engineering productivity and security by building and maintaining development infrastructure that supports high-quality software delivery. You will work on CI/CD pipelines, local development environments, and tools that enable engineers to code efficiently and securely. This position offers the opportunity to impact the engineering organization broadly, streamlining workflows and creating scalable systems for multiple teams. You will collaborate closely with engineers across the platform, participate in planning, code reviews, and other aspects of the software development lifecycle. Requirements

7+ years of hands-on experience building backend systems and/or development platforms.
2+ years of professional experience working with Python.
Experience in roles related to Engineering Effectiveness, Engineering Productivity, Development Infrastructure, or similar.
Strong collaboration skills and customer-focused mindset, working closely with internal engineers to identify needs and improve workflows.
Proven track record delivering complex projects end-to-end.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while tackling challenging problems.

Nice To Haves

experience creating and maintaining CI/CD systems
knowledge of Bazel, Go, or security-focused development practices.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain CI/CD infrastructure and development tools that enhance engineering workflows.
Set up and optimize local development environments for engineering teams.
Provide engineers with reliable tools and workflows to develop, test, and deploy changes efficiently.
Lead the delivery of complex feature areas within the Development Infrastructure team and contribute to roadmap planning.
Collaborate with internal teams to understand engineering needs and improve development productivity.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, standups, code reviews, and documentation.
Support secure and scalable development practices across engineering teams.
