Ignite Digital, has an exciting opportunity for a Software Development Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Charleston, SC to support our client engagements within the federal government. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong hands-on experience with software development within the federal government and a strong work ethic. This position serves an important role in supporting a DevSecOps software development program and producing business process improvements. The individual will implement "best in class" software development solutions.

  • Translate application requirements to fully functional software solutions for the end-user.
  • Ensure high-quality code with best practices, optimizing performance and scalability.
  • Utilize Docker for containerization and application deployment workflows.
  • Use Git for version control, ensuring efficient team collaboration and code management.
  • Active DoD security clearance
  • Technical Training in SAP / ERP, or Database Administration, or Oracle Discoverer, or MS SharePoint, or Business Objects
  • Eighteen (18) years of experience required supporting software development technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with "Specific Projects", to include three (3) of the following five (5) areas: Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Test & Evaluation, and Training
  • Experience with ServiceNow within Federal government
  • Recognized expert who has demonstrated industry service in SAP / ERP, or Database Administration, or Oracle Discoverer, or MS SharePoint, or Business Objects, to include operations or configuration / administration, and/or reporting.
  • Security+ certification
