Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Manager, Software Development (M3) to lead a growing engineering team for our innovative Assurance Service. This new service is redefining how cloud security and compliance are implemented and managed at scale. As a key leader, you will shape the engineering direction, mentor top talent, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver high-impact cloud solutions that help customers keep their environments secure and compliant.

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a collaborative engineering team delivering secure, scalable, and reliable software solutions for OCI’s Assurance Service.
  • Oversee the full software development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery and high quality of new features and enhancements.
  • Partner with product management, security, and compliance stakeholders to align development efforts with business priorities and customer needs.
  • Promote a culture of innovation, accountability, and operational excellence across the team.
  • Champion best practices in software engineering, security, automation, and cloud-native development.
  • Set clear goals and performance expectations for team members, conducting regular reviews and supporting career growth.
  • Drive technical decision-making, risk management, and resolution of complex engineering challenges.
  • Support integration with related OCI services, ensuring seamless delivery and interoperability within the cloud ecosystem.

  • Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
