Requirements

  • BS / MS degree in computer science, engineering, chemistry, or a related technical field.
  • 7+ years of experience in multidisciplinary product and/or software development environment, with 3+ years in a managerial/leadership role.

  • Passionate contributor committed to exceeding customer requirements and growing their own knowledge base.

Responsibilities

  • Lead by example and guide a software development team that focuses on building and implementing software for our spectroscopy products.
  • Develop software solutions for instrument integration and multi-dimensional chemical analysis techniques.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, encouraging a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams, involving hardware engineers, scientists, and product managers, to define software requirements and specifications.
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in spectroscopy and software development technologies and integrate them into our products.
  • Ensure that software solutions are robust, scalable, and meet the needs of our customers and collaborators.
